1. You must reside in a served township in Carroll County, one whose taxes support the library.
2. You must provide some proof of your address in that township. (A current driver's license or a piece of mail sent to you at your current address are two good examples.)

Served townships Include Adams, Deer Creek, Jefferson, and Rock Creek. Residents of Jackson and Monroe townships must first obtain a library card from their public library in Camden or Flora. Residents of Burlington, Clay, Carrollton, Democrat, Liberty, Madison, Tippecanoe, and Washington townships, which are townships in which the library is not supported by taxes, may obtain a library card after paying a $90 annual or $22.50 quarterly fee.

If you are under 18 years of age, your parent must sign for your library card, agreeing to be responsible for materials borrowed on your card. If you want to check out videos or DVDs, you must sign a separate agreement that explains the differing checkout periods and fines for videos. If you are under 18 years of age, your parent must sign this contract on your behalf, in person, at the library.

Public Library Access Cards area available for $30 and allow you to extend the use of your local card to all public libraries in the state of Indiana. If you live in a township which does not recieve library service, however, you must first purchase a local card.
