Computers in the Library
|
The library has several computers for public use. A library card is not required to use the computers. A 30-minute time limit, however, is enforced when other users are waiting to use the Internet. Users are required to read an Acceptable Use Agreement and sign an acknowledgment. Children under the age of 18 who want to use the Internet must have a parent come in the library and sign an Internet permission form that then must be shown each time the child comes to the library to use the Internet. Please read our Internet Policy, which is available online and also at the main circulation desk.
Many of our services are provided via computer terminal, including:
- On-line card catalog
- Internet access
- Word processing
- Desktop publishing
- Spreadsheets
- Inspire database for periodicals
- Specialized encyclopedias and databases
