Use this database to find:

1. Books by your favorite author.
2. Upcoming books, soon to be published.
3. Suggestions on what to read next.
4. Book reviews from respected journals.

To get there:

1. Go to DPL's website (www.carrollnet.org/dpl).
2. Click the Other Online Databases & Library Resources link.
3. Click Books in Print.

To do a quick search:

1. In the Quick Search box, type a title, author, keyword, or ISBN (unique number assigned to a book). You can combine title/author searches and search by Keyword (the default). For example, type part of the title name and part of the author name and search on Keyword to get very specific results.
2. Specify by using the check boxes below the search box whether you want to find Print, Out of Print, Forthcoming, Book, Audio, and/or Video titles. (The default selections are In Print, Forthcoming, and Book.)
3. Click Submit.

To do an advanced search:

1. Click the Advanced Search tab at the top of the page.
2. Enter your primary search criteria (Keyword in Title, Keyword in Subject, etc.).
3. Choose other options in the check boxes and drop-down lists to limit the results by numerous other criteria, such as audience, publication year, review journal, and more.
4. Click Search.

With Books in Print, you can answer questions like

• When is the next John Grisham novel coming out?
• Is To Kill a Mockingbird available as an audiobook on CD?
• What is the most recent book in the Mitford series by Jan Karon?
