Use this database to
find:
- What people from ancient
times to the present ate, wore, and used.
- What they hoped, invented,
and sang.
- What they loved, feared,
and hated.
- Facts about everyday

Online Databases & Library Resources link.

Life Online.
To do a quick search:
- In the Quick Search box,

Chapters, Primary Documents, Images, and Resources appears. Click a highlighted
title in one of the lists to go to the full text for that item.
To do an advanced
search:
- Click the Advanced Search
tab.
- Enter terms for a Keyword
search or a Boolean search. (The Boolean search is more powerful, but the
Keyword search is easier for first-time users.)
- Add other query options
(check boxes) to search by subject, region, and/or time.
- Select a Sort option
at the bottom of the screen to organize your results in a certain way.
From the Daily Life Online
home page, you can also click to Browse by Time Period (Past or Present), Region
(click the targeted area on the map), or Subject (Domestic, Economic, Intellectual,
