Children's Story Hours & Programs
Winter 2007 - 2008

How can you get your kids to fall in love with books? Start them early, read aloud to them often, show them you love to read, and bring them to the library! There are programs for kids of all ages. Our goal is to get kids excited about books.

On Tuesdays:
7-7:30 p.m. Tuesday Evening Story Hour For all ages. Great books and activities.
On Wednesdays:
10:30 a.m. Story Hour at the Branch Library For children of all ages.
On Thursdays:
9:30-10 a.m. Baby Lapsit For infants 3 months to 2 years and their caregivers
10-11 a.m. Toddler Time For children 2 to 4 years and their caregivers. A fun introduction to simple books, fingerplays, action songs, and rhymes.
11:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Preschool Story Hour For children ages 4 to 6 years.

After School at the Library: Library Scouts

Library Scouts learn how to become good library users and other important library skills in a club format. There is an after-school snack, craft, and game at every meeting..
