Professional People

My life roots were on the farm and I have not ventured far from an avid interest in soils and plants.  Prior to Freedom Lawns I owned and operated Freedom Formulations and Management, an agricultural consulting and formulation business.  My focus was regenerative, sustainable agriculture, with natural, biological products and practices. 

In 1989 my wife, Marilyn, and I, decided to venture into turf care and grounds maintenance with these ideas. This included IPM, or integrated pest management, using only limited controls for turf and landscape care.  This concept easily aligns with our organic based approach to lawn fertilization. 

We have now grown to a full service, professional maintenance company.  My goal is for Freedom Lawns to be a friendly, growth oriented, service business, trusted by our customers, and respected in the community.
